Tuition Requirements

Registration fees are due and processed with the application for enrollment. Deposit for the each course is due on or before orientation. The remaining balance can be paid prior to or upon completion of the last classroom session. The intake coordinator can provide assistance with other considerations involving fulfillment of tuition requirements.

Attendance and Classroom Requirements

Students are expected to attend all required sessions. This includes classroom as well as clinical sessions. A class roster will be signed for classroom and clinical participation.

A student will be allowed to miss no more than one classroom session. Students are held responsible for making up any activities missed during classroom sessions. A student will have one week from the date missed to schedule and complete makeup sessions with the instructor. If more than one absence occurs, the student will be scheduled for a conference with the program coordinator and assisted with problem solving interventions. However, students will not be able to continue to program for present term. The option of enrolling at a later date will be presented if the student has passing scores on all course work.

Students who are 15 minutes late to class shall obtain permission from instructor prior to being admitted to the session. Any students who does not obtain approval shall be deemed tardy and counted as absent for the session.

Enrollment Requirements:

  1. At least 18 years of age
  2. High School Diploma or GED
  3. Validation also accepted by High School Transcript

All persons interested in enrolling are asked to register two weeks prior to the beginning of a session in order to allow time for the criminal background checks to be processed.

** Any criminal background check, which comes back indicating a “conviction” of any crime or any offenses regarding abuse and neglect or misappropriation of a resident’s property shall warrant a dismissal from the program.

Withdrawal from the Programs

A student who withdraws from the program during the first week is entitled to a refund according to the terms in the enrollment contract. Cancellations should be made in writing and delivered by mail or in person to the program coordinator. Any student who resigns from the program will be issued a refund as per the agreement in the contract.

Clinical Requirements

Students must report at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the day to participate in pre-clinical preparation. Any missed clinical hours must be made up and will be completed at the discretion of the instructor. This may be done in conjunction with another session of enrollment due to availability of the instructor.

Absenteeism from the classroom or clinical requires a written excuse and should justify absences due to illness, death, a catastrophic event, or an emergency situation.
